Electrical Maintenance Engineer
£40,000 + Training + Benefits
Location: Newbridge on Wye
Are you from an Electrical Maintenance background looking for a secure, long-term role within a major UK manufacturing business?
This is an excellent opportunity to join the 5th largest timber company in the world, currently investing heavily in its UK operations. Due to continued growth and site development, they are looking to add an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their established engineering team.
With ongoing expansion, they are open to engineers from a wide range of electrical maintenance backgrounds who are looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within a fast-paced, global organisation that offers structured training and genuine progression opportunities.
Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll support electrical maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement across a large industrial site, including sawmilling, treatment, and biomass operations.
This is an ideal role for someone with electrical maintenance experience who is looking to future-proof their career by joining a large, stable company offering a strong benefits package, predictable hours, and a supportive team environment.
The Role
* Electrical maintenance, repair, and replacement of site equipment
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
* Reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding
* Working with motors, drives, control panels, and industrial machinery
* Working a 3-shift rotating pattern
The Person
* Electrical maintenance background (open to various industries)
* Hands-on electrical maintenance or fault-finding experience
* Looking to develop skills through training and long-term progression
