Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Cawthorpe. This site operates within a fast-paced production environment and relies heavily on high-speed packaging machinery to support its production output. The successful Maintenance Engineer will join a skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of critical production equipment across the site.
This role would suit an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working on automated machinery and thrives in a hands-on maintenance environment. The successful Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring production lines operate efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns across a range of packaging machinery and production equipment. The Maintenance Engineer will be heavily involved in electrical fault finding, PLC diagnostics, repairs and component replacements to maximise machine uptime and maintain production efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Strong electrical maintenance background
Experience maintaining manufacturing or packaging machinery
Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Requirements
Strong electrical fault finding and repair skills
Experience working with PLCs and automated machinery
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out electrical repairs efficiently
Desirable Requirements
Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs
Electrical engineering qualification or apprenticeship
Basic mechanical maintenance skills
