Job Description

JOB – Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION – Slough

TERM- Permanent

SHIFT PATTERN – 4 on 4 off days (7am-7pm) or nights (7pm-7am)

SALARY - £35,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer of specialist machinery. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Slough on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Strong hands-on Engineering skills – fault-finding, dealing with machinery failures, maintenance, breakdown, repair
Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background
Able to work safely and methodically
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work 
 The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

Working in a team to improve and maintain machinery
Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
PPM and breakdown avoidance
Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
Working with others and being an excellent team player
