Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

🔥 Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias, looking for a role where you can earn well and make a real impact?

📍 Location: West Yorkshire
💷 Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 OTE (including overtime)

✅ Must Haves:

✔️ Time-served Maintenance Engineer
✔️ Strong electrical fault-finding ability
✔️ Experience working on industrial machinery
✔️ Basic PLC fault finding / diagnostics
✔️ Proactive, hands-on attitude

⏰ Hours:

⏰ Monday to Friday – Rotating Shifts

1 week: 06:00 – 14:30
1 week: 13:30 – 22:00
2 weeks: 08:00 – 16:30👉 Overtime available at time and a half

🚀 The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, fast-paced maintenance role within a well-established manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for keeping machinery running efficiently, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, and playing a key role in minimising downtime across the site.

If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and being a go-to engineer on the shop floor — this role gives you the autonomy to do exactly that.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery
Fault finding on motors, drives, and control systems
PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics
Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
Supporting continuous improvement projects
Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
Participating in the on-call rota

A confident, hands-on engineer with a strong electrical background
Someone who can fault find quickly and effectively under pressure
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
18th Edition (advantageous but not essential)
A team player with a proactive mindset
