The role

As part of our exciting growth and internal promotions, we’re seeking Maintenance Engineers to help keep our operations running seamlessly. If you’re a natural problem solver with a passion for both planned and reactive maintenance, this is your chance to join a growing team and make a real impact!

What you will be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?

  * Carry out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across the plant.

  * Conduct emergency lighting tests and portable appliance testing in line with schedule.

  * Support and deliver continuous improvement projects to enhance factory productivity and reduce downtime.

  * Confidently connect to and program PLCs and inverters as part of fault diagnosis and repair.

  * Use your knowledge of safety systems to ensure compliance and conduct risk assessments for all tasks.

  * Source parts/materials and work closely with suppliers and the technical admin team.

  * Use CMMS systems (ideally Shire) to manage work orders and maintenance logs.

  * Mentor apprentices, helping embed classroom knowledge into real-world application.

What we want from you?

  * Experience in food manufacturing

  * NVQ Level 3 or above in an Engineering subject relevant to FMCGs

  * Recognised qualification in electrical competence including 18th Edition

  * Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems

  * Holds a HACCP Level 2 qualification (preferred)

  * Knowledge of TPM either through leading projects or working in a TPM environment (preferred)
