Job Description

Just Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and expanding company based in Witham to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer. 

The key purpose of this role is to work autonomously, and as part of a small team, to undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs of our processing machines.

You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as:- Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382 

Duties & responsibilities: 

Providing front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding 
Assist in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment
Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works

You will also require a flexible approach to the working hours to help meet operational demand and support the needs of the business.

Hours -  7.00am - 4.30pm 

Experience/Qualifications:

Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's
Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment 
Self-motivated and able to work in a team
Knowledge and experience of PLC an advantage
