Job Description

Our client based in East Wretham is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to cover for long term sickness. Working a 3 shift system - (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) and (Apply online only), you will be required to:

  * Take responsibility for the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop, tools and replenishing consumables

  * Carry out and record all daily, weekly and monthly PPM tasks in line with the schedules

  * Guide and train operators to be self sufficient in routine reactive maintenance tasks

  * Review and continuosly develop maintenance plans by determining the most effective strategies for each piece of equipment

  * Fault find and repair breakdowns

  * Provide suggestions for improvements to reduce downtime

  * Build relationships with suppliers to ensure essential spares are readily available and longer lead time critical spares are stored securely and replaced as necessary.

  * Any other duties as required.

This position is offered on a temporary basis, you will therefore need to be available to start work immediately.
