Job Description
Probe Technical are looking to recruit an exceptional opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a small team on an early and lates shift. This is an outstanding chance to join the only UK subsidiary of a large multi-national company with a great Plant Manager to work with. This is a fantastic role for someone who is hands-on, technical, and operational that likes to be left to manage their own time. As part of a top manufacturing group, you will be required to maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPM and proactively schedule maintenance works to maximise service levels.
The average level of work service on site is 15 years, showing that people really enjoy working there with the close-knit team.
The package details for the role of Maintenance Engineer include:
* A salary banding that’s negotiable up to £45,000 depending on experience.
* Company Pension which is a salary sacrifice
* Holidays starting at 23 and increasing to 28 with service.
* Rotating 2 shifts Monday – Friday
As a Maintenance Engineer this will be a high-pressured environment so the ability to be able to work well under pressure is a pre-requisite of the position, in addition the ideal candidate will be:
* To hold a level 3 Engineering or Maintenance qualification
* Have a strong electro / mechanical aptitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Can troubleshoot and repair sophisticated machinery (such as electrical, pneumatic or mechanical systems)
* Can respond urgently to immediate problems and be disciplined enough to plan routine tasks, future improvements and preventative maintenance
* Good understanding of lean manufacturing techniques (such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, AM & PM).
The Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester.
