Job Description
Our client is a long-standing family owned growing business. They now need a multi skilled Engineer to join a skilled and well established team.
If you strive for the best and can work in a small team, then this an ideal role for you.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Core hours: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm
Main Requirements:
* Engineering qualification, HNC, ONC or equivalent
* Practical electrical and mechanical experience
* Ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical control and instrumentation faults
* 60/40 electrical biased
* Experience of working in a safe working environment. Permit to work or IOSH
Skills:
* Pumps (vacuum, diaphragm, centrifugal, other technologies)
* Motors and inverters
* Steam and condensate systems
* Pipework water, steam, air, pressured, chemical
* Compressed air and pneumatics
* Demineralization and reverse osmosis
* Ph. control, batch controllers, load cells
* Pressure systems and appreciation of the pressure systems regulations
* Food grade areas and appreciation of HACCP systems
* Computer literate Outlook, Excel, Word etc
