Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Shift- Days & Nights Panama Shift
Salary: £45,000- £50,000
Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer ready to take on a new challenge in a fast-paced, heavy-industrial environment? We’re seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Shift Technician to become a key part of a thriving production facility specializing in large-scale machinery and high-performance manufacturing systems. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is looking to join a company that invest in their engineers. You’ll play a vital part in keeping complex, high-output production lines running smoothly — reacting quickly to breakdowns and applying robust preventative maintenance strategies.
Skills required for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Electrical & mechanical competency – proven experience in fault-finding and repair
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
Fault-find and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems: belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, bearings
Diagnose and repair electrical systems: single/three-phase, PLCs (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens S7), inverters, and safety relays
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
Provide thorough handover communication to ensure seamless shift transitions
Comfortable working on motors, sensors, drives, bearings, belts, and chains
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will benefit from;
