Job Description
I am seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team in the West Midlands. This role focuses on ensuring machinery and equipment are well-maintained to support production within the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Description
Perform reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance levels.
Overhaul, adapt, and carry out improvements on existing machinery.
Mechanically biased role with some electrical work involved.
Replace bearings, inspect compressors, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Maintain and repair equipment including conveyors, pipework, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding tasks.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the plant and suggest new methods and procedures.
Complete all documentation to a high standard.
Carry out basic facility and site service maintenance as needed.
Ensure effective teamwork and adopt a flexible, first-time-right approach.4 on 4 off - 12 Hours - 06:00 - 18:00
Profile
A successful Maintenance Fitter/Engineer with experience in a fast-paced, production driven environment, along with:
A recognised mechanical Engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors & general plant machinery
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety practices in an engineering environment.Job Offer
£19.11/Hour (Equivalent to £42,200/annum)
