We are currently seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to become a key part of our high-performing engineering team at our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Spalding. Your Role
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, as a maintenance engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of our production lines. This includes a mix of proactive maintenance and reactive breakdown response across a range of machinery.
Responsibilities include:
Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Responding to and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
Supporting CI (Continuous Improvement) and reliability projects
Keeping accurate maintenance records using our CMMS system
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
Strong diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of PLCs, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety
