Your Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be a key player in keeping production running smoothly and safely. You’ll be working on a variety of machinery across the factory floor, using both your electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure plant performance, quality output, and minimal downtime.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns across multiple machine types
*
Performing preventative maintenance to optimise uptime and quality
*
Working to high engineering and housekeeping standards
*
Playing a part in ongoing continuous improvement projects
*
Ensuring all work complies with safety and operational procedures
*
Participating in a 5-day shift and 4-night shift pattern (Mon–Fri) with 1 in 4 Saturdays
What You’ll Bring:
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing setting
*
Strong electrical & mechanical engineering skills
*
Minimum City & Guilds Level 2, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification
*
Understanding of safe systems of work (e.g., permits, RAMS)
*
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
*
Ability to read both electrical and mechanical schematics
*
Experience with PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
*
17th or 18th Edition (preferable)
*
Self-starter, proactive, team-oriented, and highly organised
