Our client requires a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Sleaford area. This client is a manufacturer of composite materials and wants an engineer who is similar with this industry.
You will work within a team of engineers who help to keep machines running smoothly by going to breakdowns and carrying out maintenance work on various production machinery. You will also be needed to help build some of the machinery, when required.
Duties
Work within HSE compliance.
Installation of equipment and upkeep of all main production machines.
Effective electrical and mechanical fault finding, identifying the problem and fixing the issue, making sure all equipment is safe before handing it back to the production team.
Ensure spares are on hand at all times for machinery and equipment.
Skills
Maintenance experience on a range of production and line machinery including installation, if needed.
Fault finding abilities (electrical/ mechanical)
Experience/ Qualifications
City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering
You must have 18th edition wiring regulations
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role in the production manufacturing industry.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm
Your salary will be between £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
