Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for our client on the Wirral.
The main duties of the Maintenance Engineer are:-
* To assist in the maintenance and repair of plant and machinery
* To assist in the maintenance and repair of the facility if by, nature and design, this falls within the remit of the Maintenance Manager
* To assist in carrying out routine inspections, condition reports indicating economical means of repair
* To assist in diagnosing machine breakdowns
* To assist in carrying out electrical, hydraulic or pneumatical repair work resulting from pro-active or reactive maintenance
* To assist in carrying out gas burning and welding as necessary
* To assist in liaising with machine manufacturer personnel in relation to the timely sourcing supply of parts, and equipment etc.
* To assist in the co-ordination of repairs and ordering/ receiving parts etc.
* To ensure the security of site as appropriate, to include maintaining workshops and storage in safe condition
* To assist in completion of all documentation including worksheets and inspection sheets as appropriate
* To assist in updating and maintaining accurate information on company IT maintenance systems
* To assist in liaising with sub-contractors to carry out work outside the scope of your job description
The ideal applicant is a person who has basic electrical diagnostics experience, mechanical engineering experience and welding/fabrication experience.
This role is fully site based working 6.30am to 4.30pm Monday to FridayBefore You Apply
