A leading food production company based in West Wales is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established maintenance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of essential machinery and reducing downtime through planned and reactive maintenance.
This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with a mechanical bias and solid electrical competency, looking for job stability and long-term development.
Role Overview:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and unplanned breakdown repairs
Diagnose and repair faults on a range of electrical and mechanical systems
Work with key production equipment including:
Packaging machines
Conveyors
Washers
Weighing systems
Prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-moving, high-demand environment
Ensure all work complies with health & safety and company standards
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
Strong mechanical background (approx. 70%) with basic electrical knowledge
Engineering qualifications (mechanical/electrical or multi-skilled)
Proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible and reliable, with a strong focus on problem-solving and equipment reliability
