Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Featherstone, West Yorkshire
Salary: £42,000 + 9% Matched Pension, Health Shield, 4x Life Cover, 26 Days Holiday
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shifts: Rotating:
Week 1: 6:00am – 1:30pm
Week 2: 1:18pm – 9:00pm (Mon–Thurs, finish 8:00pm Thurs)

A leading global manufacturer in the packaging industry is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support continued growth following a significant investment in production equipment.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background and strong electrical skills who enjoys varied work, team collaboration, and continuous learning.
Role Overview:
Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
Work with components including motors, sensors, bearings, belts, chains, drives, compressors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Perform root cause analysis, improve equipment reliability, and ensure safe operation of all systems.
Maintain both machinery and the general site in good working order.
Equipment You'll Work With:
Printing presses
Slitting machines
Conversion machines
Rewinders
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong mechanical maintenance background (approx. 70%)
Electrical skills and a relevant qualification (17th or 18th Edition preferred)
Comfortable working with hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Team-oriented, hands-on, and proactive in problem-solving
Willingness to upskill through regular technical training
