We’re a market leader in the design and manufacture of our product, and we’re looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a role where your expertise will be recognised, and your contribution will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Responding quickly to breakdowns and maintaining multiple machine types
Carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant and equipment
Conducting effective preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and optimise output
Identifying root causes of failure using strong problem-solving skills
Ensuring all maintenance is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
Supporting continuous improvement projects and plant upgrades
Maintaining great housekeeping and engineering standardsExperience and Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
Skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
City & Guilds Level 2, ONC/HNC, Higher Level Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
17th or 18th Edition (preferred)
PLC experience plus knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings (preferred)
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
