Maintenance Engineer
My client, a leading company in the construction and facilities management sector, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established team. This role involves delivering high-quality building maintenance, including HVAC filter cleaning, basic plumbing, and other essential tasks to ensure the smooth operation of various sites.
Salary: £28,000 per annum

Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work alongside other site-based trades to achieve the company’s ambitious goals. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple buildings, primarily in Manchester and Liverpool, with occasional travel to Leeds and Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance across various sites, ensuring jobs are completed on time and within health & safety regulations.

Communicate with a central helpdesk to stay on schedule and meet deadlines.

Review work instructions and ensure compliance with provided drawings and plans.
*
Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
*
Use a computer or handheld device to carry out basic tasks and order materials as needed.
*
Recommend filter upgrades for better efficiency and maintain accurate maintenance records.
*
Perform other duties as required in a physically demanding work environment, which may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, and hazardous materials.
