Due to the continued success of this manufacturing business, they are looking to expand the engineering team in the Leicestershire region. You will need to working as a Maintenance Engineer and be competent in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, there will be opportunities to learn not only from your peers but through internal and external training courses. They are offering a salary package circa £47,430 working a permanent night shift. Salary rises to £50,749 in 2 increments following on site experience.
Key Responsibilities for this Maintenance Engineer role:
Maintain & enhance performance of all machinery
Reduce engineering downtime, respond rapidly to machine failures & breakdowns
Undertake projects and assist with all site installations
To undertake, develop & improve planned maintenance schedules
Open and clear lines of communication with management and fellow colleagues
To prioritise work within the engineering departmentSkills and Qualifications needed for this Maintenance Engineer role:
NVQ3 / ONC / HNC Engineering Qualification
Time served (apprenticeship trained) engineer
F.M.C.G experience is preferable
Fault finding on 3 phase control circuits (required)
Experience controls systems (required)
Experience with PLC's (preferred)
