Job Description
Premier Work Support are recruiting on behalf of our client in Wickford, who is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability
Support planned preventative maintenance schedules
Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively
Fit and replace mechanical parts as needed
Maintain accurate service history records
Respond to emergency repairs and unplanned issues
Develop and implement maintenance strategies
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proactive and self-motivated approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skillsThe hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 1:45pm.
