Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Haverhill
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Nights)
Salary: £52,000
We’re working with a fast-growing food manufacturer that’s investing heavily in its people, equipment, and future. They’re adding an extra engineer to every shift – meaning more hands on deck, less firefighting, and more time to do the job right.

What you’ll be doing:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
* Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Supporting equipment upgrades and new installations
* Working closely with production teams to keep the lines running smoothly
* Keeping accurate maintenance records and ordering spare parts when needed
* Following strict health, safety, and food safety standards
What we’re looking for:
* Maintenance experience in any industry (food background a bonus)
* Electrical or mechanical skills – ideally both
* Able to diagnose and fix faults quickly under pressure
* Great communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to get stuck in and support improvements on site
