We are working with an injection moulding company who requires a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably with an electrical bias, working in a modern injection moulding facility.
Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance for an injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment and general building upkeep .
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Undertake pre-planned maintenance for all injection moulding machines, robots and ancillaries.
* Undertake reactive maintenance, ensuring downtime is minimised
* Repairing faults as necessary, in the most cost effective and efficient way.
* Work flexibly to ensure that the maintenance activity is done with minimal disruption to production.
* Ensure work is conducted in line with Company procedures and the H&S policy
* completing all necessary risk assessments and paperwork as required.
Skills & Experiences:
* Ideally with C&G NVQ in a related subject (e.g. engineering, electrical, mechanical)
* Good conversational and written English
* Qualified Electrician, with 17th Edition would be advantageous.
* Previous experience of working in an injection moulding environment advantageous.
* Experience of undertaking maintenance on hydraulics, and electrical manufacturing equipment.
Working Monday – Thursday 8 am to 6 pm. = 36 hours a week
