Job Description
My Telford based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer.
* Up to £36k dependent on experience
* Mon-Thurs 8am – 4.55pm or Mon- Thurs 8am – 4.35pm – Friday 8am – 1pm
* Pension
* Health Care
* Free parking
* 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities:-
* Provide maintenance engineering to machinery breakdowns and repairs
* maintenance and development of the manufacturing operations and business needs.
* To assess, repair, maintain and develop machinery and equipment.
* To provide maintenance manufacturing support relating to plant/process efficiency, safety, and product quality as directed by the Production Manager.
* To ensure maintenance engineering workshop procedures and equipment are developed and maintained in a satisfactory condition; that related environment, health and safety issues, standards and policies are maintained and adhered to.
* Compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, works instructions and safe systems of work are mandatory
* fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
* Updating of the maintenance system
Skills and experience:-
* Communicating proficiently

* Managing resources
* Resolving problems / Good diagnostic skills
* Making good decisions
* Being innovative and decisive
* Working with teams and on own initiative
* Experience of working with Eurotherm and Uni Drives
* 18th Edition Electrical Installation
* BTEC or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Multi skilled in both Mechanical (25%) and Electrical (75%) disciplines
