We are seeking a practical, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to keep specialised fibre-processing machines operating at their best. You’ll be responsible for repairing and maintaining small but intricate equipment-machines with delicate internal components that demand patience and a steady hand.
Based in a state-of-the-art facility, we design and manufacture cutting-edge technology used across a wide range of high-tech industries.
In this role, you’ll work with a high level of autonomy, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and fine-tuning performance. Over time, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to process development, helping to enhance both the machinery and the way we work.
A background in mechanical or electromechanical engineering is essential, whether through a formal degree or substantial practical experience.
If you have experience with fibre processing machinery and have worked with fibre processing machines, it would be ideal but not essential.
We’re looking for someone with:
Proven, hands-on experience repairing complex machinery
The ability to work independently and take initiative
A solid grounding in mechanical or electromechanical engineering
