Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a small, friendly engineering team at a well-equipped food manufacturing site in Middlesbrough. Working in a modern facility with current-generation machinery, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth production through planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery (e.g., flow wrappers, ultrasonic cutters)
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults
Support site improvements and maintain high standards of safety and hygiene
Collaborate with production, hygiene, and technical teamsWhat We’re Looking For
Mechanical & electrical engineering experience (essential)
Comfortable working weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday (12 hrs) /Monday (totaling 40hrs – 42hrs) (including bank holidays)
17th/18th Edition desirable
Experience in FMCG or food production preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and flow wrap experience is a bonusBenefits
