Maintenance Engineer (Nights)
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £46,500 (inc. shift allowance) + great benefits inc. bonus
Shifts: Permanent Nights – Mon - Thurs 10pm to 6am, Fri 8pm to 3am

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team in Nottingham. This is a night shift position where you’ll play a vital role in keeping manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
* Responding quickly to breakdowns, repairs, and work requests
* Supporting major projects across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure
* Working with injection moulding machines, CNC machinery, and conveyor systems
* Applying hands-on knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety standards
About You
To be successful, you’ll bring:
* 5+ years’ experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition BS7671 (essential) and Inspection & Testing desirable
* A proactive approach with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
* Driving license and own vehicle as you may on occasion need to travel to support another local site (mileage covered)
