Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including CNC Machines and conveyor systems.
* Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify faults.
* Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
* Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with electrical experience preferred.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and schematics is essential.
* Welding skills are advantageous for this position.
* Qualified to 18th edition BS7671 level
* Ideally inspection and test certifications
