Maintenance Engineer
£42,000 - £46,000 + Company Pension + On-site Parking + Training + 40 hrs per week + Days Only

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills, looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in keeping critical equipment running efficiently?
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an experienced company of almost 50 years, ensuring the smooth running of facilities, minimising downtime, and supporting productivity.
On offer is the chance to join a leading company who are a specialist manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions, producing a wide range of custom plastic profiles, tubes, and pipes for sectors including construction, marine, transport, and retail. There are currently 17 extrusion lines that operate 24hrs a day reflecting the ambitious plans our client has in the near future.
The Role
Assess, diagnose and repair equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Respond quickly to breakdowns, arrange and fit replacement parts, and carry out overhauls.
Perform routine maintenance, refurbishments and upgrades to keep equipment fit for purpose.
Check instrumentation and arrange calibration where required.
Relocate and install equipment when needed.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work.
The Person
Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing complex systems.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and instrumentation desirable.
