About the Role:
Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance/Fitter to join their team. This role is essential to the repair, maintenance, and load testing of their lifting equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in fault-finding and repairs on traction hoists and safety brakes, as well as major gearbox repairs and overhauls.
Key Responsibilities:
·Diagnose and repair traction hoists and safety brake systems
·Conduct load testing of lifting equipment to ensure safety and functionality
·Carry out major gearbox repairs and complete overhauls
·Work with both AC and DC electrical systems
Qualifications & Skills:
·Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
·Good organisational and communication skills
·Proficiency in PC use, including MS Office applications
