Maintenance Fitter – Days Only – Every Friday Off!
* Location: Commutable from Stourbridge, Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Dudley, Lye and Rowley Regis
* Salary: £36,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
* Hours: Day Shift | Monday to Thursday | Every Friday Off | Full Time | Permanent

Due to continued investment and expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our day shift team, who enjoy a shorter working week with every Friday off.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Fitter
As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will:
* Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
* Work on a wide range of plant and equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
* Collaborate with a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers.
* Ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Requirements – Maintenance Fitter
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Formal mechanical engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Ideally apprentice trained in a mechanically
* Proven experience in a manufacturing, heavy engineering, or industrial environment
* Strong problem solving skills and a hands-on approach to mechanical maintenance
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors and gearboxes is desirable
