Mechanical Maintenance Fitter – Power Generation
€43,250 – €48,750 + benefits
Dublin, Ireland
MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a major power generation business in Dublin. This role will form a key part of the maintenance team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of multiple generation stations.
As the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance activities
Working on valves, pumps, gearboxes, and large rotating equipment
Installing and removing heavy plant equipment
Maintaining accurate records using the CMMS system
Preparing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments
Performing authorised roles under the site safety rules (safe systems of work)
To be considered for this role you should have:
2+ years’ experience in power generation (thermal, hydro, renewables) or heavy process industry
FAS / SOLAS / Senior Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or equivalent
Experience with valves, pumps, gearboxes, and heavy plant equipment
Technical knowledge of power station mechanical maintenance procedures
Strong safety culture and teamworking skills
Good IT skills with MS Office and CMMS systems
Full driving licence
