Maintenance Manager – M&E Building Services
Location: Within a commutable distance to Central London
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Package
Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager with a background in M&E Building Services? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established facilities management provider, overseeing the delivery of maintenance services across a portfolio of prestigious commercial properties in and around Central London.
The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational delivery of planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely. You’ll lead a team of engineers, manage client relationships, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple commercial sites.
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of multi-skilled engineers and supervisors.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory, contractual, and health & safety requirements.
* Oversee PPM schedules, reactive works, and minor project delivery.
* Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Monitor contract performance, budgets, and service quality in line with SLAs and KPIs.
* Identify and implement efficiency improvements and technical solutions.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager role within the FM / Building Services sector.
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong commercial and financial awareness.
* Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
Package
* Basic salary of £60,000 – £65,000
