Role: Maintenance Manager
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
Rate: £38.50 Umbrella (Inside IR35) OR £27.50 PAYE
Duration: 12 months
Hours:
Monday to Wednesday 6am - 2:30pm
Thursday 6am - 2pm
Friday 6am – 12pm
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join an Automotive Manufacturer near Leicester. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and cost standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily meetings, present updates on safety, quality, and cost metrics.
Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Ensure timely execution of work orders and allocate resources effectively.
Create action plans to address gaps in maintenance performance.
Manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
Requirements:
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Maintenance planning and execution within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to analyse data and make decisions based on KPIs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Level 3 equivalent qualification in engineeringBefore You Apply
