Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Manager (Electrical Bias)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Leeds, LS10
Hours: Monday – Friday, 42 hours per week (6:00–15:00 or 7:00–16:00). Occasional Saturday work may be required.

The Role

Questech Recruitment are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Maintenance Manager with an electrical bias to oversee the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations at their site.

This is a key role responsible for managing maintenance activities, ensuring plant reliability, and supporting a small engineering team to maintain high operational standards across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Manage and support the on-site engineering team, including engineers and 2 fitters

  * 

    Oversee and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules across all plant equipment

  * 

    Manage and oversee plant programming and maintenance systems

  * 

    Provide hands-on electrical fault finding and technical support where required

  * 

    Ensure machinery and plant equipment are maintained to high safety and operational standards

  * 

    Drive continuous improvement within the maintenance function

  * 

    Ensure compliance with health & safety and engineering regulations

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor / Senior Maintenance Engineer role

  * 

    Strong electrical bias within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  * 

    NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a completed engineering apprenticeship

  * 

    18th Edition Electrical Regulations

  * 

    Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating maintenance schedules

  * 

    Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
