Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Project Manager (Mechanical Bias) to lead the delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance services, as well as manage small works projects across a range of commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent client-facing abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in a dynamic M+E environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management
*
Lead the delivery of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of client sites.
*
Oversee a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring top-tier workmanship and adherence to compliance standards.
*
Ensure full compliance with statutory health & safety regulations and company policies.
*
Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, and urgent maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Small Works & Project Delivery
*
Manage and deliver mechanical-focused small works and minor project installations (e.g., HVAC replacements, pipework upgrades, plant room modifications).
*
Develop detailed estimates, scopes of work, and project timelines.
*
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
*
Monitor and control project costs, quality standards, and deadlines to ensure successful outcomes.
Client Relationship Management
*
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business opportunities.
*
Provide regular progress updates and detailed reports to clients and senior management.
*
Lead client meetings and site visits, offering expert advice and ensuring project alignment.
Team Leadership & Development
*
Supervise and mentor engineers and junior team members, fostering their growth and maintaining high performance standards.
*
Oversee resource allocation, scheduling, and performance reviews to ensure efficient operation.
*
Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and receive necessary training to maintain compliance and quality.
