Maintenance Supervisor Engineer – London & Kent
£45,000 + Package
Hill McGlynn is working in partnership with a well-established M&E subcontractor to recruit an experienced Maintenance Supervisor Engineer to be based out of the Sittingbourne office but to travel to sites in and around London and Kent.
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks at client premises ensuring compliance with all customer requirements and Synecore policies and procedures. In addition carrying out your daily tasks, as Senior Engineers, you will take on additional responsibilities to support the service department in growth and development. You will report directly to the Maintenance
Manager.

General Tasks
* Ensuring that all jobs are attended in a timely manner and in accordance with the instructions issued to you
* Ensuring you complete all job sheets comprehensively so as to ensure efficiency with return visits
* Complete all client portals as required and in accordance with instruction
* To use joblogic as per training provided to ensure information is communicated efficiently without need for questioning
* Ensuring that all equipment issued to you is maintained in a good clean working order. Reporting any defects to the compliance teams
* Ensuring all equipment is made available on request for calibration, testing and inspections
* Ensuring that you van is maintained in good clean working order in accordance with your vehicle policy
* To complete all training allocated within the agreed timeframes specified
* Regular night works
Additional Supervisory Tasks
* Work closely with the maintenance team ensuring the service delivery is as required
* Lead by example
* H&S champion
* Ensure compliance tasks are completed correctly and deliver training where required
* Provide a positive and structure mentoring programme for trainee and apprentice engineers
* Support with onboarding of new engineers ensuring all required tools and materials and available ready for arrival
* Provide technical support to engineers and administrators
* Participate in engineers personal development programs and reviews
* Complete engineer on site audits ensuring compliance with expectations
* Identify and communicate training needs within your team
* Ensure maintenance team material stock levels are maintained including carrying out spot checks on van stock
* Monitor the servicing standard levels and look to improve where necessary
* Carry out a bi-monthly teams call with the maintenance engineers delivering tool box talks
Full support will be provided including any necessary training to develop your skills as necessary.

* Additional technical training specific to the role i.e. Refrigeration/Electrical

* H&S for Managers & Supervisors
* IOSH Managing Safely
