Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Little Chesterford – £50,000 per annum

CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day engineering operations across a high-profile commercial portfolio.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and leading a team of engineers to deliver a high-quality service across multiple sites. This role involves directly managing a team of three engineers, coordinating and supervising subcontractors, and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard. The position also includes participation in a call-out rota (1 in 4).

Hours of Work

08:00am - 17:00pmKey Responsibilities

Daily checks, planned and reactive maintenance of building services systems
Issue Permits to work
Weekly/monthly reports
Attending client meetings
First response to mechanical or electrical system faults across the site
Overseeing HVAC, lighting, and general building services infrastructure
Supporting wider facilities operations and escalating issues where required
Coordinating with the mobile support team and specialist contractors
Maintaining system logs, completing PPM tasks, and ensuring close-out of all work ordersAbout You

Electrically or mechanically qualified (C&G Level 2 & 3)
Proactive, organised, and able to problem-solve effectively
Comfortable working with automated systems and modern building technology
Calm, professional, and confident when dealing with clients and end users
