Maintenance Supervisor - Industrial Environment
Location: Scotland (specific site details can be added)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Day Shift
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Benefits
Are you a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in industrial environments?
We're looking for a proactive and experienced individual to lead our maintenance team, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance across our busy industrial facility. You'll lead a skilled team of engineers and technicians, driving high standards in safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team
Implement and monitor a robust PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedule
Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime
Support continuous improvement projects and reliability initiatives
Ensure compliance with all health & safety and regulatory requirements
Provide training, mentoring, and support to maintenance staff
Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers as needed
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Team Leader in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge (multi-skilled desirable)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience working with CMMS systems
A recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
