With continuous investment and a brand-new production line being built at a sister site, this is an ideal time to step into a leadership role with long-term stability and strong progression.
This position balances leadership, planning, and coordination alongside hands-on engineering (typically 60/40 on the tools).

✔ Monday–Friday days (7–3)
✔ Growing operation with new equipment & major investment
✔ Funded qualifications – HNC, NVQs, 18th Edition, PLC training
✔ Supportive engineering leadership team
✔ Generous OT Earnings

The Role – Maintenance Team Leader
As the Maintenance Team Leader, you will oversee and support a team of around three engineers while working closely with the Engineering Coordinator and senior engineering management.

Day-to-day management of a team of multi-skilled engineers
Managing PPM schedules

Supporting training and development, including apprentices and new engineers
Hands-On Responsibilities (Approx. 60%)
While leading the team, you will still actively support maintenance tasks.
Electrical Responsibilities

Working with drives, inverters, contactors, relays, overloads & pressure switches
Siemens PLC I/O checks
Supporting and improving electrical PPM processes
Reactive maintenance across all plant lines
Mechanical Exposure
Bearings, gearboxes, rollers, motors
Strip-downs, rebuilds and mechanical fault finding
Working on conveyors, crushers, screens and large plant machinery
What We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) – electrically biased
Strong background in industrial/manufacturing maintenance
Confident fault finder across electrical & mechanical systems
Natural leader — proactive, organised and supportive
Team Leader experience preferred but electrically strong engineers ready to step up are very welcome
Salary & Benefits
£47,500 - £53,500
OTE £60k+ via overtime
Overtime: 1.5x, 2x on Sundays, minimum 4 hours call-out
