Maintenance Technician – CNC & Production Equipment

Salary: £41,000 + optional 33% night shift uplift

We’re partnering with a cutting-edge manufacturing business that’s investing in its maintenance team. They’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help drive reliability, uptime, and a proactive approach to equipment care.
You’ll work on a wide range of CNC and production machinery, combining electrical and mechanical skills to keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance on CNCs and other production equipment
Identify and resolve faults across electrical and mechanical systems
Diagnose issues involving PLCs, drives, and inverters
Play a hands-on role in reducing downtime and improving reliability
Contribute to root cause analysis and support continuous improvement projects
Keep accurate records of maintenance activity, parts usage, and downtime
Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise disruption
What You’ll Need
HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (electrical bias preferred)
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Confident working with CNC machinery and modern production systems
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across both disciplines
Proactive, safety-conscious, and solutions-focused
