Maintenance Technician – Dublin Hub
Working hours: 39 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
Salary: €54,626 + Shift Allowance and Benefits
Our client, a global logistics leader, is seeking qualified and motivated Operations Maintenance Technicians to join its newly established operations hub in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-performing maintenance team in a modern, fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
The Operations Maintenance Technician ensures all plant and equipment on site are maintained and repaired to recognised standards, minimising downtime and supporting efficient sortation operations across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient completion of work within operational deadlines.
* Monitor workflow, identify potential issues, and take prompt corrective action.
* Liaise with Operations Managers, Section Leaders, and Control Room personnel to resolve equipment and process queries.
* Maintain health and safety standards and ensure smooth movement of goods through operational systems.
* Accurately complete all required documentation and maintenance records.
* Follow operational and maintenance procedures to uphold service and compliance standards.
* Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, safely stored, and that defective items are reported promptly.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will hold a City & Guilds Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification and demonstrate:
* Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition electrical regulations
* Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
* Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings
* Understanding of PLC-controlled systems
* Awareness of health and safety regulations
* Flexibility to adapt to changing shift requirements
* Full, clean driving licence
