Workman’s Recruitment is proud to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a prestigious organisation renowned for delivering high-end commercial workspaces throughout the UK. With a track record of excellence and award-winning operations, this nationally recognised provider is committed to quality and innovation across all its locations.
This role is based across four modern business centres in Central London, including Old Street, Victoria, Moorgate, and Paddington. You'll be a vital member of an experienced and collaborative onsite team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining consistently high standards of safety, appearance, and functionality across all sites.
Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including painting and decorating, flooring installation, furniture assembly and repair, door and lock maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing work, and HVAC troubleshooting.
* Conduct inspections and weekly maintenance patrols, including monthly emergency lighting tests with detailed record-keeping.
* Act as the first point of contact for onsite maintenance issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Complete maintenance tasks using management software to prioritise and track progress.
* Support internal projects and refurbishments, as well as tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring spaces meet expectations.
* Drive between centres to deliver tools, equipment, and provide additional support as required.
* Consistently follow health, safety, and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
* Full UK Driving License
* Experience in general maintenance, handyman, or building services roles
* Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
* Technically minded with the ability to identify faults and recommend solutions
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Physically capable of lifting heavy items, working at height, and using ladders

* Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 per annum
