Job Description
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Maintenance Technician to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
The Maintenance Technician, will be responsible for:
* Completing planned and reactive maintenance
* Conduct tasks in compliance with Company Safety Policy
* Completing Planned Preventive Maintenance and Helpdesk tasks
* Maintaining Health & Safety standards
* Liaise with engineers and subcontractors
* Supporting the development and communication of best working practices
To be successful for this Maintenance Technician role you must have:
* A recognised qualification in Engineering
* Proven experience providing electrical maintenance services in a large, complex environment
* Basic to intermediate IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to update central data systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities and a self-motivated approach
* Significant hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of building services including heating, hot water, ventilation, refrigeration, environmental systems, electrical power and distribution, and public health
* A flexible team-oriented mindset with a “can-do” attitude and a proactive, intuitive approach to problem-solving
