An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading to join as a Maintenance Technician.
Location: Reading
Working Hours: 7AM - 3PM & 9AM - 6PM (alternating shifts)
Job Type: Temporary position, 4-6 weeks with potential of a permanent opportunity
Salary: Up to £14.55 per hourAs the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Cleaning, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry, painting / decorating, ground maintenance, escorting contractors on site, pool maintenance.
Ensuring gates and buildings are locked / unlocked at the start and end of the day.
Set alarm systems and respond to emergency call outs.
Conducting building checks.
Maintaining general presentation of the grounds.
Many other duties, full job description available upon request.The successful Maintenance Technician will have the following related skills / experience:
Experience in a similar position.
Plumbing, carpentry and decorating skills.
Manual handling.
Good planning and organisational skills.
