Maintenance Technician
Monday - Friday Days
£43,853 per year

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a growing engineering team at a cutting-edge facility in Telford. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, with the chance to work on a mix of planned maintenance, equipment upgrades, and improvement projects.
About the Role
Working Monday to Friday on day shifts, you’ll play a key part in keeping the plant running efficiently, tackling technical challenges, and helping to drive performance improvements. You’ll work on everything from scheduled maintenance and refurbishments to testing, commissioning, and optimisation projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Delivering planned maintenance and supporting engineering projects
*
Assisting with equipment commissioning, testing, and installations
*
Carrying out risk assessments and promoting safe working practices
*
Recording activity using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
*
Contributing to problem-solving workshops and daily review meetings
*
Sharing ideas to boost efficiency and plant performance
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone with energy, initiative, and strong technical know-how. You’ll ideally bring:
*
A minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
*
Experience in a process, production, or manufacturing environment
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work
*
Experience with plant installations or optimisation projects
