The Role: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of site-wide facilities and equipment. This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys both preventative and reactive maintenance, and thrives in a fast-paced, precision-engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the facility
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs
Maintain building services including heating, lighting, compressed air systems, HVAC, and general utilities
Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Support with facilities projects, installations, and upgradesSkills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in a similar Maintenance or Facilities Technician role
Background in manufacturing or industrial environments; aerospace experience desirable
Multi-skilled with electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in maintenance or engineering disciplinesWhat’s in it for you
