Maintenance Technician
Engineering - Blackburn, Lancashire
Full-Time - 12-Hour Continental Shift Pattern (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights)
An established and forward-thinking manufacturing company in Blackburn is seeking mutliple Maintenance Technicians to join its high-performing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that partners with some of the world’s most recognisable brands in the automotive, medical, and technology sectors.
About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of blow and injection moulding machinery, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement across production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests during shift hours
* Ensure consistent operation of production and secondary equipment
* Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities
* Support with tool changes when required
* Lead or assist in engineering projects focused on process improvements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a skilled maintenance technician
* Background in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges
Shift Patter & Hours:
Week One: 60 hours – days (6am - 6pm)
Week two: 24 hours – days (6am - 6pm)
Week three: 60 hours – nights (6pm – 6am)
Week four: 24 hours - nights (6pm – 6am)Before You Apply
