Job Description
We’re seeking a proactive, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You’ll be responsible for repairs, and preventative maintenance of our company’s buildings at various locations in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out general building maintenance— this will include repairs to electrical, plumbing and cladding as needed
* Be able to operate suitable plant e.g. cherry picker and/or scissor lift safely (IPAF licence mandatory)
* Dealing with external contractors where necessary
* Following safe systems of work in line with CDM Regulations
* Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and records

Schedule
40 hours per week – rota’d shifts between Monday and Friday, 08:00 to 17:30
Essential Requirements:
* Strong practical skills in electrical, plumbing, cladding, and general building along with minor joinery skills, would all be useful in this role
* Experience operating cherry pickers and a valid IPAF licence (company may train)
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel
* Based in Newport or within a 45-minute drive radius
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Desirable Qualifications:
* SMSTS certification
* NEBOSH health and safety qualification
* IOSH certification
* Own set of trade tools (we can also supply tools if needed)
