Electrical Engineer to cover a minimum 6-month
37.5hrs per week – shift times between 06:30 – 19:00 rota plus on call
The person appointed shall be a technician with an electrical background and will conduct, with
minimum supervision, maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant, and equipment
throughout NHS Trust.

Qualifications / Training
• NVQ Level 3
• City and Guilds Level 3 in inspection and testing of electrical installations.
• 18th Edition
• First Aid
• Health and Safety qualification/ certification. E.g. (Risk assessment training)
• Portable appliance testing City & Guilds 237
Previous Experience
• Working in the Healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of HTM 06.02 (D)
• Experience of working within a team and own initiative
• Experience of working in a demanding environment with many, sometimes
• conflicting priorities.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
Skills
